Color Run Fundraiser

This will be a "wet" color run! Rather than use powder, we’ll be spraying the kids with a mixture of water, food-grade-safe food coloring, and white vinegar. We have found that many PTAs prefer this method because it keeps the mess down and out of their faces.

On the day of the run, students should wear clothes that can get dirty. The PTA will provide a white t-shirt for each student to wear over their school clothes. Each classroom will decorate their shirts before the run, adding to the fun! We will also be providing garbage bag "ponchos" to wear between their clothing and their run T-shirt, to help keep them dry for the remainder of the day.

We would love for all students to participate in the run, but we understand that some will prefer not to get wet. Students who want to be sprayed will wear a wristband. Students who don’t want to be sprayed won’t receive this wristband, so our volunteers know who shouldn’t be sprayed. To opt-out of being sprayed, please complete the opt-out form below.

We will also be taking pictures during the run to share on our Facebook page. If you do not want your student photographed, please complete the opt-out form below, and we will provide them with a different wristband so our volunteers ensure the student is not included in the public photos.
